Magical Weekend in the Woods

After the grueling ascent of the mountain with four kids six and under on bikes AND all our food from the weekend loaded into our packs, we were able to enjoy a thoroughly lovely weekend in the Western Maine woods in the Poplar Falls Hut, part of the Maine Huts and Trails.  So lovely.  There was snow in the morning, waterfalls, ninjas on the hikes, epic monopoly games, delicious food shared with friends, hot cocoa, cozy wood stoves.  Too lovely.
